Beautiful mid century decorative art glass bowl. Teal Blue, cased in white with Silver Aventurine, white polka dots inside. 10" long, 7-1/2" wide, 3-1/2" tall. Polished pontil. Unsigned. Looks stunning with no cracks notable chips. A very tiny fleabite on the one end of the rolled lip, and small air bubble on the back side that was done when blown. An amazing example of vintage mid century art glass from the Isle of Murano, Italy. | ||

Outstanding mid-century modern big glass dual/divided serving piece. Versatile, amazing visual appeal, direct from the mind of George Braird. Rectangle shape, with slighly scalloped edges. Back textured clear glass that gives the appearance of a sparkling glitter, with overall variety of golden geometic lines, and angles. Center cameos in each of the bowls feature atomic retro designed fish! Signed "George Braird" Piece measures 14-1/2" x 8-1/2" x 1-1/4". It is in amazing condition with no chips, chiggers, cracks or fading. Not sure the pictures will do this justice. Its an amazing piece that will handle a variety of serving occasions and it would also make a nice addition to any mid-century, danish modern, eames, decor. | ||

Vintage 60s MID Century Modern Viking Art Glass Red/ Orb Sphere Ashtray! This auction is for a gorgeous vintage 1960's art glass orb/sphere ashtray. Produced by Viking Glass. If it looks familiar its because you've seen one of these in many episodes of a popular tv show! Fabulous retro handmade orange/red glass. 3-1/4" tall and a little over 4" across. Vintage 1950's lheavy mid-century modern Murano vase. Produced by I.V.R. Mazzega, Italy, (Industrie Vetrarie Riunite) . 9-5/8" tall, 5" across the widest point. Two colored. Thick heavy hand blown glass. Ground and polished smooth base. There are no chips, chiggers, cracks or repairs. No label or maker marks. Unusual, if you'll note it appears that there is a ghost bottle shape inside, and the coloring looks bright golden yellow on the base when viewed from the side, but when viewed from higher angle the golden color seems to darken. There maybe some bright spots in the pictures, these are reflections from the lighting. | ||

Designed by Bo Borgstrom for the Aseda glassworks of Sweden. Circa 1960's. Original label still in place on the side. 8-3/4" tall. 2-1/4" dia. Clear glass base with trapped bubble, cased ruby to raspberry colored glass, cylindrical with hoops main body. Vase is in excellent condition with no chips, chiggers, cracks or repairs. Glasses 1949! This set of Shmoo promo drinking glasses are extremely difficult to find. One of the scarcest of the Shmoo, Al Capp, Lil Abner collectibles. This is a set of 6, each featuring Shmoo's along with other characters from the comic strip. One glass is devoted just to Shmoo and it is the rarest and most difficult to find! Produced in 1949, and each glass bears the © UFS, 1949. Set features: Bouncing Shmoo's, Indian Shmoo's, Fishing Shmoo's, Baking Shmoo's, Running Shmoo's, Teeter-Tootering Shmoo's, Back side of each glass features a different strip character, Lil Abner, Mammy Yokum, Pappy Yokum, Unwashable Jones, Lonesome Polecat and Shmoo. These are 4-3/4" tall. 2-5/8" rim dia. Each glass is a unique color, red, green, brown, orange, blue and chartreuse. Outstanding condition, with no damage. Coloring is vivid and bright without wear. 50s Mid Century Modern Fostoria Art Glass
Swan Sculpture Figurine Candy Dish This is a
stunning vintage mid century modernist
whimsical swan, finished as a candy/mint
dish. Produced by the Fostoria Glass
company. Pictured in several Fostoria Glass
collectors books. The color is called
Canary, but it looks more like amberina to
me. It measures 6-3/4" tall, 8" long and
4-1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition
with no damage or repairs. Flat head and
raised bead eyes, lite textured finish on
the bowl give it that modernist appeal.
Would look great in any mid-century, danish
modern, retro, eames decor. |

Fab Vintage Viking Golden Crackle Art Glass 50's Modern Cigar Bowl Ashtray! This is a stunning vintage art glass cigar bowl (ashtray) from an estate. Produced by Viking Art Glass back in the 1950's. Swedish-Mid-Century-Modern styling! Handmade, then dipped in cool water to achieve the fine crackle finish. Polished bottom ring. Perfect for cigar smokers with its wide and flat rest. The color is a golden amber. Viking produced a couple of different sizes and colors in this ashtray, this is the largest and is referred to as the "cigar bowl". It measures 7-1/2" x 7" x 3". It is in excellant condition, clean with loads of mid-century appeal! Also works well as a candle holder, and will hold up to a 3" candle. Weight 3 lbs. | ||
