Rare Vintage 1958 Jensen Triaxial Ultra High Fidelity Speaker Build Plans Manual This is an ultra rare original vintage 1958 Jensen Guide to High Fidelity Loudspeakers in Home and Institution. Put out by the Jensen Manufacturing Company. It was a manual of enclosure requirements, specs and loudspeaker components for architects, contractors, interior decorators. Today it is an invaluable guide to the space, structure, components and assembly aspects of fine mid century modern speaker systems. Jensen felt that the enclosure was an important functional acoustic element of the complete speaker system. Its size and acoustic principle had to be coordinated with the loudspeaker components in order to secure the best results with the available space and sought-for degree of performance. The plans included in the manual are considered the best by Jensen based on the companies research program. Manual is complete and in good condition still. Lite signs of age and use. Does have a name wrote on the front, a ink stamp on the bottom right corner for the for the business that used this. 11" x 8-3/8" , 36 pages. Please see the larger picture below that lists contents. CURTIS JERE Signed Modernist Wall Art SCULPTURE Town Trees RARE Mid Century! This is a stunning vintage hand made modernist wall sculpture by the renown design group Curtis Jeré under the direction of Artisan House. Although the art was promoted as a single artist "C. Jeré, it was the work of Jerry Fels (1917-2007) and Curtis Freiler . This sculpture is an original amazing work of modernist art and is signed © C. Jeré. It is an extremely rare and seldom seen Jeré sculpture of a small town with tree line. Large size, quite impressive, 53" length x 25" height x 2" deep. Produced in the California studio in the 1960's. From the applied coloring to the attention given to detail, it is very impressive! Changes in lighting and background coloring gives it an appearance of a misty dawn setting to mid-day sun sharpness. The use of a variety of materials and multi-layering gives it a realist appeal. Fresh
from an estate is this fabulous mid-century
modernist floral display. It is a torch cut metal
& resin sculpture by the "Father of Metal
Sculpture" Bijan J. Bijan. This early Bijan
sculpture represents one of the unique art
processes designed by Bijan. By using the natural
richness of brass metal and green stone-like
resins, its easy to see why his works are highly
sought after. The piece stands approx. 30" in
height and 20" wide, 14" deep. Hand signed
"Bijan". The sculpture is mounted on a dark
stained wood block base measuring 6-1/4" x 6-1/2".
Its sweeping long metal stems with the weighty
resin stone flower centers is finely balanced, the
thought process of the sculptor, to allow the work
of art to stand independently on its small wood
base. A slight breeze allows the flowers to sway
gently as their real counterparts. Over time and
display the sculpture has gathered some dust and
is in need of a gentle cleaning. It is complete,
all original, still in very nice condition with no
damage or repairs. The brass shows normal
oxidation and wear from its age and cutting but
still displays nicely.The wood blocks finish has
some scratches on the top from where the display
was turned around and rubbed the finish. Placed in
front of a natural light source or by a lamp the
brass shines and the green resin flower plumes
seem to glow with color! Early on most people were
not aware of his works, but large corporations and
the stars of Hollywood like Frank Sinatra, Carol
Burnett, and Joey Bishop, were and purchased some
of his works for personal display. Bijan is now
renown for his many types of sculptures,
paintings, invented techniques, and for many
impressive industrial works of arts that are on
display around the world. His earlier works such
as this floral sculpture are getting hard to find
and are becoming highly collectible. |

From
an estate, offered for auction, is this unique
vintage mid-century brutalist metal wall
sculpture. Designed and handcrafted by William
& Bruce Friedle, in their New York City
metal shop, circa 1960's. This beautiful oval
sunburst w/birds sculpture is a wonder to
behold. Steel and brass, rays of golden rods
tipped in black and a flock of copper birds in
flight. Wall mount bracket and legs on the back
hold the sculpture away from the wall for a
floating effect. It measures 20" x 38" x 4",
overall. Done in abstract form, it is quite
impressive! It is complete and is all
original. I did not notice any mark, but
it is an authentic Friedle Brothers work.
It has a custom aged patina. No broken, missing
parts, or repairs. Welds are in good
condition. Form has a couple of slightly
off rays from storage, but these can
easily be returned to the original position. The
Friedle's originated the sunburst design that
dominated the mid century era. Its a great
example of their unique handcrafted work.
This would make an amazing and unique wall
sculpture for your mid-century, modernist,
eames, danish modern, decor! |

Vintage DANISH MODERN
Mid-Century HANS BOLLING 13" TEAK Wood Viking
Bojensen era This is a fantastic highly
collectible vintage 1950's figurine toy.
Designed by Hans Bolling and made in Denmark.
This not so fierce "Viking Warrior" is the
perfect addition to any Danish or Mid-Century
Modern decor. He stands 13" in height. Solid
teak wood with hand painted eyes, fur beard, red
felt cape. Original "Made in Denmark" blue and
white label on his pipe. He is in nice condition
still considering he over 60 years old. No
cracks, chips, repairs. The felt is slightly
faded. |

Mid Century Rosenthal Netter Italy Danish Modern Eames Era Cubist Dish /Ashtray! This amazing mid-century modern ashtray was made by Rosenthal Netter. It has its original "Created in Italy for Rosenthal Netter, label on the bottom and is impressed "Italy" also. Woven cubist design in black, brown, golden yellow, and sienna glaze. Perfect style and coloring for a Danish Modern decor. Raised rests on two of the corners are hard to note, so it could be easily be used as a mint dish. 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" x 1-1/4". Very nice condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines, discoloring or repairs. | ||

This is an outstanding
complete set of vintage dinnerware, in a
service for six, with some accessory pieces.
Designed by the renown American industrial
designer, Ben Seibel (1918-1985), for Mikasa.
It doesn't get better then this in vintage
designer dinnerware! Good quality heavy china.
The pattern is called "Eden". Fabulous pink
and white coloring with real "flower power"
appeal. Unique modernist style, vibrant color,
distinctive form. Its ght after. The
subtle differences in this set make it stand
out from the crowd of typical dinnerware and
elevate it to the heights of dinnerware done
by other prolithic designers such as Eva
Zeisel and Russell Wright. Each and every
piece in this set is in outstanding condition.
No chips, cracks, chiggers, hairlines or
repairs. The high gloss glaze is fabulous
still! I don't see any notable utensil
scratches or signs of use. It comes from an
estate so I can't say if it was ever used but
if its was it was very little and its obvious
the set was cherished and handled carefully.
A highly collectable and a wonderful addition

Vintage RETRO Bradley ORANGE & WHITE Travel Windup ALARM CLOCK Panton EXC in BOX! This is a nice vintage Bradley Travel Alarm Clock. It comes from an estate, complete withinstruction/guarantee paper and original box. Doesn't look like its been out of the box much. Retro bright red/orange case and face. Shiny gold metal trim. Large white numbers and hands make reading a breeze even when your half asleep! Wound it up, set the alarm, runs great, keeps good time, and alarm rang at correct time. Clock measures 3" dia and about 1-1/4" height when closed up in the case. No date on the paperwork or box, my guess would be 60's or 70's. Fun retro vintage alarm clock for your next trip! | $39.00

Signed VICKE LINDSTRAND of KOSTA Sweden Prism Art Glass 60s BIRDS in CAGE Rare 60's! Exquisite hard to find art glass design by Vicke Lindstrand (Victor Emanuel Lindstrand 1904-1983) for Kosta Boda of Sweden. Regarded as one of the world's foremost artists in his field. Its easy to see why when viewing his stunning 'Birds in a Cage' design . Clear triangle, prism, engraved birds behind bars. Done in the 1960's, engraved signature " Kosta 92415 Lindstrand" on base. 4" in height, approx 3-1/2" on each side. A little over 2 lbs. Perfect on display or as a paperweight. Almost perfect condition. A few minor scratches on the bottom, a tiny chigger bite on one bottom corner and a very tiny flea bite on the top edge. Not visible in pictures due to their size. Not noticable unless your looking for them, just trying to describe this as accurately as possible. This piece is hard to photograph due to its prism like properties. I've used a green felt background to show the details. It also shows some fingerprints and smudges from handling. It is a stunning mid-century modern piece that would be a beautiful addition to any collection. | ||

Unique large heavy Chamotte stoneware
vase. Designed by Hertha Bengtsson
for Rorstrand, Sweden, in the 1950's.
Painted mark, R, three crowns,
Sweden, HB. Unglazed band,
with rough cork like texture on the top.
Speckled looking brown glaze on roughed surface
around the bottom and rim. Inside has full brown
glaze with lite specks of the stoneware showing
through also. 7-1/2" tall. 5-1/2"
across the rim, and 7" across the base.
